Coffeenizer Stirring Stick (WDT)

The Hauck Coffeenizer Stirring Stick is an espresso distribution tool made from very dense and beautifully grained sandalwood.

The purpose of a so-called “WDT tool” (WDT = Weiss Distribution Technique after its inventor) is the even and complete distribution of the espresso or coffee grounds in the portafilter. The aim is to avoid the “channeling effect”, i.e. the formation of fine grooves in the ground coffee if it is distributed unevenly.

To do this, the ground coffee is mixed using the needles so that no lumps remain and it is well distributed in the portafilter.

The set consists of the handle with the needles and an attractive tray for the tools after use.
